Yasmin Ogilvie

Yasmin Ogilvie is a London based saxophonist who tours globally for a wide range of artists and bands. Her keen interest in collaboration has led her to play within a diverse range of genres from Pop and Dance to Avant-garde and Classical.

After graduating from Trinity College of Music, Yasmin has gone on to pursue a busy career performing at venues, festivals, weddings and corporate events with artists including Billy Ocean, Fleur East, McFly, Oh Wonder, Denai Moore, BB Diamond, Ayanna Witter Johnson and The Dualers and has supported the likes of Kelis, Taio Cruz, Roy Ayers, Zane Lowe, Stereophonics and Tinie Tempah.

A founding member of Apex Horns, Selmer Performing Artist and ACS endorsee, she has been flown around the world to play at prestigious events and private parties for Dolce & Gabbana, Microsoft, Land Rover, Chivas, Jaguar, Chelsea FC and Barbarian FC and has been resident saxophonist for some of London’s most established and highly regarded members clubs.

Yasmin has performed in venues and festivals including the O2 Arena, Royal Festival Hall, London Palladium, The Roundhouse, Cadogan Hall, Creamfields Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Winter Music Conference (Miami) and has toured internationally for High On Heels, Ministry Of Sound and HedKandi as well as recording sessions at Maida Vale for BBC Radio 1, Abbey Road and Pinewood Studios.

Yasmin was a member of the house band for the latest series of the well-known ITV show ‘Tonight At The London Palladium’ and is touring the UK and Ireland with the popular Prince tribute band ‘Purple Rain’.

Yasmin’s background in classical music has enabled her to play with orchestras, ensembles and as a soloist, ensuring that her passion for music and creativity stands out in every performance.
